Hi! There is a problem with a disabling auto-recognition on the Anviz W3. There is a setting which supposed to disable live detection, but it doesn’t work. It’s continue to live recogniton.

We would like to switch this mode to manual, like:

1. Person come to anviz w3
2. Person put the button IN or OUT
3. Anviz W3 switch on the camera and regonize the person

But now it works only in this way:

1. Person come to anviz w3
2. Anviz W3 regonize the person and noted him/her.

And this mode make a problem, because we haven’t set timetable to auto swith IN or OUT.

upd: live detection doen’t match with our task, this is another setting. But nevertheless how to switch anviz w3 to manual mode?

Hi @Smith,

Unfortunately there isn’t a so called manual mode in Anviz face recognition devices what you want. Earlier, an old product (FacePass 7) had this working mode but later this was not included in the firmware of newer face products.
The only way is that when the person is recognized by the device the display will show the date, name and status info for a couple of seconds. If the person taps on status info (IN/OUT) then he can select the desired status.
Otherwise I agree, the way you want the device to work would be good and really useful.
