# How do I config the same Device ID for 2 Facedeep Units

How do I config the same Device ID for 2 Facedeep Units, The 2 Facedeep Units are installed in an access controller; however, the access controller cannot read or authenticate when 2 FaceDeep are not the same Device ID. Either only 1 Facedeep should be connected to the Crosschex Server LAN or same Device ID should be used. What s the best solution for such setting?

Hi @bobdizon . Each device must have a different ID to be connected on the same software by network.

You van change their ID inside the device Menu. Make sure when you add the devices on the software, each one is defined with the same ID inserted on the hardware.
