# Magnetic Stripe Cards

Hello, I would like to know if it’s possible use a [usb magnetic band card reader](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DUB4GVO) to use with the FaceDeep3. Currently we have a big amount of users with magnetic band card which is used with a legacy time tracking machines. We’re thinking if it’s possible reuse those cards with the FaceDeep3 devices.

Hi @Rechumdc,

The product linked above won’t work with FaceDeep 3. And any USB reader won’t work.  
But there’s a solution to use magnetic stripe card readers with Wiegand output which can be connected to the Wiegand input of FaceDeep 3.

I would just offer the same, a third part reader with Wiegand Output, connected in the FaceDeep 3 Wiegand Input, that would work.
