# Removing Scheduling Requirements on CX3

I have a CX3 time clock and our business has very irregular working hours. Anywhere from 5 am till after midnight. We also often have paid lunch breaks so the scheduling requirements on the CX3 make it completely useless. Also, I am not interested in using the cloud software. All I need is for the clock to keep track of employee hours from whenever they punch in to whenever they punch out even if it goes past midnight. Is that something you can help me with??

Could you please offer more details regarding the CX3 you use, including the SN and firmware?
The CX3 is a standalone device, which supports setting Cross-night shift by design.

OK but I can’t use the schedule feature like I am forced to use as it logs the employee out over lunch and that will not work as the employees are sometimes out and about and get paid lunch.

What I would like is it to keep track of hours from when they punch in till they punch out. And be able to set the clock to switch to the next day at 4 am so that they would be punched out by the click if forgotten. 4am is the time of day when no one is working. Reply if you can help. Thankyou.

Sorry, you don’t understand. The schedule feature will not work for my application. Unfortunately, if there is no way to bypass that schedule feature I will have to buy something different than Anviz.

We’re sorry for the late reply.
Yes, we have already updated the feature. Now you can export the report without setting time table for your employees.
If the CX3 you have now still need to set schedule, we can send you the firmware of this.
