Anviz CrossChexx Constant Back-up Failure

Greetings.

I have been getting constant “back-up” failed errors when backing up CrossChexx Standard DB via the Software.

Please assist in resolving this.

Hi @ViKtor,

Are you using MS Access database?
If yes, try to run the “Compact and Repair Database” tool of MS Access.

Same issue here.

Greetings Tibor. If I compact and repair the database: 1. It gets insanely small from 800MB to 172MB, 2. “CrossChex file with Type: Microsoft Access Record-locking information” disappears". Is that normal, or did I lose 600MB worth of data and information from my DB?

Yes, that’s normal. No data loss occurs. By the way, the “Microsoft Access Record-locking information” file (.ldb) stores some data (e.g. computer name) which aren’t the part of the CrossChex database.
