Need Help Setting Up Biometric Device for Online Access

Hi Anviz Community,

I recently purchased an Anviz biometric device and I’m trying to set it up for online access, but I’m stuck at a few points. I’ve gone through the user manual, but it’s not very clear when it comes to remote access configuration.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Connected the device to Wi-Fi
Accessed the device on the local network
Tried setting up cloud access via CrossChex Cloud, but getting connection errors

Can someone guide me step-by-step on how to properly set up online access for the device? Do I need to configure port forwarding or use a static IP?

Also, out of curiosity, I’ve been reading about IT infrastructure and came across the term What is DevOps. Is there any relevance of DevOps practices in managing devices like these?
