Connect to device using DNS name problem

Hi,

We’re using last version Crosschex (5.0.10) and when we use DNS name to connect to device (VF30Pro) but if we use this DNS record we can’t connect, if we use IP address we can connect.

With version 4.X we don’t have this problem, we can use DNS or IP

My question is correct to use DNS or it’s not possible with versión 5.X

I wonder if this problem is fixed, because I can only find the V5 version online and there is no update to fix this issue.

I’m currently using DNS in a lot of customers and I still get this issue in the new version.

Yes, we have updated the software to V5.0.3. You can direclty upgrade it in the program.
Or you can check the google link below.

Please remember to back up the database before you upgrade it.

Unfortunately this update did not work. Whenever I try to use a DNS it doesn’t work in the new version.

But it did work in the previous one (CrossChex Standard V4.3.18).

Could you please send the request to support@anviz.com so we can schedule a remote session to look at the issue together?
I also added V4.3.18 in case you want to revert to this version.
