Hello Anviz Support Team,
I would like to provide a complete summary of the troubleshooting already performed on my EP30 device.
Device Information:
-
Model: EP30
-
Previous firmware version reported by CrossChex Standard: 03.58.54
Current Status:
-
The device is stuck in Recovery Mode.
-
The screen displays:
“Recovery Mode”
“firmware update…” -
The device responds continuously to ping on IP address 192.168.0.218.
-
The Ethernet connection remains stable at all times.
-
The device appears correctly in the ARP table of the PC.
Troubleshooting Performed:
-
Followed the official “Boot Loop solution_Anviz Devices” procedure.
-
Used the official Firmware Upgrade Tool provided by Anviz.
-
CrossChex Standard was not used during Recovery Mode, as instructed.
-
Connected the device directly to the PC using Ethernet.
-
Windows Firewall was disabled during testing.
-
Firmware Upgrade Tool was executed as Administrator.
-
Multiple upgrade attempts were performed.
Firmware Files Tested:
-
03.58.D8.zip
-
EP30 firmware package provided by support
-
03.58.BR_dark firmware package provided by support
Results:
-
The Firmware Upgrade Tool immediately displays “Failed”.
-
The progress bar remains at 0%.
-
Network connectivity remains active during the process.
-
In one test, the device displayed:
“recv: 32768 bytes”
but the firmware upgrade still failed. -
The device remains in Recovery Mode after every attempt.
Additional Information:
-
The firmware ZIP files were tested without extraction as instructed.
-
The firmware files were renamed to “ep30.zip” when requested by support.
-
The Windows file security block (“Unblock”) was removed from the ZIP files and tested again.
-
The result remained unchanged.
Web Recovery:
-
The device responds to ping but I cannot access the web interface through a browser.
-
The browser does not load the device page.
Question:
Could you please advise if there is a specific Debug Mode procedure for the EP30, another recovery tool, a different firmware package, or additional recovery steps that should be performed?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
