I’m trying to reset my T5 Pro and managed to add it on CrossChex Application using mini USB connection, but once I synchronize time, it gives me error “Failed to retrieve terminal type”
I used to follow the instruction on YT and manual
Connect T5 Pro to laptop using mini USB.
Open CrossChex Standard.
Tap the master card to T5 Pro for verification.
Type necessary field then add terminal.
Synchronize.
If anyone encountered this problem, hopefully you can help.

You wrote you tried to reset the T5Pro. After a successfull reset did you register the Enroll and Delete cards again? And when you connect the device to PC by USB is there a pop-up window of found hardware (CD drive, but it doesn’t matter) in Windows?
What I really trying to do is to RESET (including user, enroll and delete cards) the T5Pro, but since I got an error message saying “Failed to retrieve the terminal type” i wasnt able to reset it “only add”.
It seems that you didn’t connect the device to CrossChex Standard.
If you are using V4 standard, you can connect the device by USB. Just input the ID, device name, and NO. You can set them all to “1”, and click “Add”, to see if you can add it successfully.
